1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using FinCredit (“Platform,” “Service,” “we,” “our,” or “us”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, you may not use the Platform.

These Terms apply to all users, including:

• Schools and educational institutions
• Nonprofits and community-based organizations
• Program administrators and instructors

2. Description of Services

FinCredit provides a financial literacy platform that includes:

• Educational courses (budgeting, saving, investing, credit)
• Interactive learning tools and simulations
• AI-assisted instructional support
• Progress tracking and reporting for organizations

Important: FinCredit provides educational content only and does not offer financial, legal, or investment advice.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Platform.

If you are under 18:

• You must have permission from a parent, guardian, school, or organization.

Organizations are responsible for ensuring proper consent when enrolling minors.

4. Account Registration

To access certain features, users must create an account.

You agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information
• Maintain the confidentiality of your login credentials
• Be responsible for all activity under your account

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

5. Organizational Accounts

Schools, nonprofits, and other organizations (“Organizations”) may create and manage accounts for their users.

Organizations agree to:

• Use the Platform only for lawful educational purposes
• Obtain all required permissions for minors
• Manage user access responsibly
• Not misuse student or participant data

We may provide administrative dashboards and reporting tools to Organizations.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Platform for unlawful purposes
• Attempt to hack, disrupt, or reverse-engineer the system
• Share false, misleading, or harmful content
• Abuse AI tools or misuse platform features
• Violate any applicable laws or regulations

Violation may result in suspension or termination.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on FinCredit, including:

• Courses
• Curriculum
• Designs
• Software and branding

…is owned by FinCredit or its licensors and protected by intellectual property laws.

You may not:

• Copy, distribute, or reproduce content without permission
• Resell or exploit the Platform commercially without authorization

8. Payments & Subscriptions

Some features may require payment.

By purchasing:

• You agree to the pricing and billing terms presented
• Payments are non-refundable unless stated otherwise
• Subscriptions may renew automatically unless canceled

Organizations may have custom pricing agreements.

9. Data & Privacy

Your use of the Platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy.

We are committed to protecting:

• User data
• Student information
• Organizational data

Organizations are responsible for complying with applicable laws such as:

• FERPA (for schools)
• COPPA (for minors under 13, if applicable)

10. AI Instructor Disclaimer

FinCredit may provide AI-generated assistance.

You acknowledge that:

• AI responses are for educational purposes only
• Responses may not always be accurate or complete
• You should not rely on AI for financial decisions

11. Termination

We reserve the right to:

• Suspend or terminate accounts at any time
• Remove content that violates these Terms

Users and Organizations may cancel their accounts at any time.

12. Disclaimers

The Platform is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind.

We do not guarantee:

• Financial outcomes
• Accuracy of all content
• Uninterrupted or error-free service

13. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, FinCredit is not liable for:

• Indirect or consequential damages
• Financial losses resulting from use of the Platform
• Decisions made based on educational content

14. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold FinCredit harmless from any claims arising from:

• Your use of the Platform
• Violation of these Terms
• Misuse by your organization or users

15. Modifications to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time.

Continued use of the Platform after updates means you accept the revised Terms.

16. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California,without regard to conflict of law principles.
